As marketers one of the biggest challenges we face is finding quality targeted traffic and directing it to our websites. Because afterall, if we have a constant flow of targeted traffic coming to our website, it’s much easier to make that sale, signup, or subscriber and you’ll be able to test your website conversion and make it even more profitable.

What are 3 ways to redirect traffic to your website?

#1 – Expired Domain Traffic – Yes, that’s right, this is something that you don’t usually hear about. You really have to think outside the box, there are thousands of ways to gain traffic and just searching for other ways than the usual recommendations can land you some serious traffic.

Expired domain traffic is when the domain has expired and it still has traffic coming to it. What you want to do is make sure that you search these expired domain companies and create a targeted campaign, for example, if you were selling golf clubs, you would want a expired domain name that the target has to do with golf, these are real people visiting your website.

#2 – Starting a FFA/Forum – This is really big. Let me tell you, the days of FFA submissions being effective is gone, I don’t care what other marketers say about it, it’s out the door. BUT, if you really want to make FFA advertising and lead collection work for you, then you have to be the owner.

You have to be the one that controls the website, it is your own website. Since there are a lot of people that still post to these sites regardless, you might advertising your own products or services on the website and collect email leads/build your list with all the posting that goes on in a day. This site can become a high traffic website and be listed in directories and recommended by others, so that’s a great way to own traffic.

#3 – Tell a Friend Script – Yes, one of the most powerful. A lot of marketers know the power that viral marketing has, but most are not using it to it’s full potential. Viral marketing is responsible for the most successful companies on the planet, it’s the fool proof way of growing your business without having to do all the advertising yourself.

It’s simple to integrate, you can create one on your website if you are getting decent traffic and a great website feedback, people will be more likely to recommend your website. You can place one in the emails that you send out that says something like “If you like this newsletter, share it with your friends” etc. Or you can put one right on your subscribe page.

You just struck GOLD with this ONE tactic alone…

One that I have found to be effective is having one on the subscribe page because after they subscribe, you can offer a valuable course that they can get free, all they have to do is enter the firstnames and email addresses of 5 of their friends and the course is free, can you really imagine the power of what I just told you, this is GOLD.

Now, imagine that you set it up this way, which is by far the most effective way. You offer a valuable course that appeals to your target market, there is no reason why your new subscribers aren’t going to tell just 5 of they’re friends so that they can get that course free, so 1 subscriber can bring you 5, and then those 5 tell 5 of they’re friends, are you reading what I just told you this can be the difference between a million dollar list.

Using any of these 3 tactics to drive targeted traffic to your website will increase your sales, signups, and subscribers. All you have to do is implement them, if you add all 3, you have a proven plan to drive traffic to your website, the sky’s the limit and you have to go out there and get what you want, and I know you will.
