It’s one of the business survival principles, if you want to create and keep a successful business you have to have repeat and new customers coming in around the clock to continue selling your product or service to, but how would you go about getting new customers?
What Are 3 Ways To Attract New Customers?…
#1 – Viral Video – This is one of the biggest trends of the year. Video has really taken over on the internet and is the new way of publicity, news, social interaction, humor and much more. If your not using video to attract new customers, you should be.
It doesn’t have to be a complex video, it can be something simple like a commission check you made from your company, or you on vacation because the flexibility of income you get from your company. There’s too much mediums for videos such as break.com or youtube.com, even myspacetv.com
If you want to make a lasting and viral impression, create something funny, interactive, or puzzling, get your visitors involved, and have a way for them to recommend your video to other people, make it as easy as possible such as “click here to email a friend” etc so that they don’t have to go through the process of copying and pasting the URL’s, were not all marketers 
#2 – Free Gifts/Contest – Wow, people sure do love free stuff, I know I do, anytime I can get a hold of something free, I hop on it immediately. You can turn this into a viral machine too and it’s not as hard as you think it is.
For example, you can offer a high value indemand product or service for free in exchange for your visitors name and email address, once you have already collected their address, you have a followup of autoresponder sequences that will keep them updated, but here’s where it get’s interesting.
Let’s say after they fill out your opt-in form, instead of the usual OTO which is great BTW because you make money, you have a viral “tell a friend” script that has a mystery bonus gift if they tell 3 to 5 friends. It’s as simple as that to create a list building machine and money making machine, you can still keep the OTO.
#3 – Joint Ventures / Cross Promotion – This is ONE of the biggest tactics to getting new customers. All you need is a USEFUL product or service that the market is looking for. If it solves a big problem, you have a successful launch, and you don’t have to acquire customers on your own.
You find a joint venture partner that also has a list and high traffic websites to partner with. You tell them what the product or service is about and let them evaluate it free, once you agree on the joint venture, you give your joint venture partner a commission for promoting the product, such as 50% – 100% no less than 50% is recommended.
You may have 10,000 customers, but your joint venture partner has 20,000 – just imagine how much more potential customers you can add to your database. If you are not doing a product launch, you can cross promote each other, or each others products. It can be a simple recommendation to your customers about your joint venture partner and his site, and he will do the same for you, it’s like trading traffic and customers.
Using these 3 tactics to attracting new customers will unload a flood of visitors pounding your website creating sales, signups and subscribers and for a while to come to. You’ll be so busy watching your sales statistics as the numbers and emails continue to come in
