How do you keep up with your blog content?…
It may seem harder than it is, but it’s really not that hard. The key is to find topics that other people are interested in or discussing. The best thing you can do is find a hot topic, or be the first to post about a topic, that’s a sure way to drive traffic to your blog.
There is too much topics and ideas out there to not have anything to blog about. It’s great If your the expert in your niche, because it will come much easier for you to find a topic and create content about it.
Where can you find content for your blog?…
- Forums / Message Boards
- Email Newsletters
- Other Blog Post (As long as you don’t copy it)
- Articles From Article Directories
- Tags / Feeds From Other Blogs
And that’s just some places you can find topics…
When your writing your blog content, if it doesn’t interest you, then don’t blog about it, it will be harder for you to write because you have no interest or know-how about the topic. If it’s a topic that your interested in, great – you can easily blog about it.
I must say, the forums is one of the BEST places to find topics. There’s a lot of questions, debates, hot trends etc in the forums that you can blog about. It happens to all bloggers, you don’t know what to write, or if what you write, will other people be interested in it?
If you can find a topic that is very popular, debatable, helpful, and questionable – you have a great blog post because other people are already intersted in it and will participate on your blog, this can even bring linkbacks to your blog from readers posting links to it on their websites or other forums.
TIP: If you have a great blog topic, write it down immediately so that you can follow up on it when your ready to post. You can do this with notepad or a notebook, you’ll find that you will start to create different topics when your not about to blog, when your mind is free, and you’ll always have content to post on your blogs.
