One of the most important steps in internet marketing is to find what’s HOT, what’s current, what’s causing curiosity and buzz. What people are looking for and how to find a way to give them what they want, so how do you find hot internet marketing topics for research?
5 Quick Ways To Find Hot Internet Marketing Topics…
#1 – IMNewsWatch.com – This is one of the best sites out there on the internet to find out what’s current and what’s not in internet marketing. I personally use this site everytime I either post a blog topic or want to make and announcement, and usually I get between 25 – 50 visitors per post.
The thing is, this is infront of a large readership of internet marketers, so you are mingling with the guru’s and branding your name and business to them. You build not only traffic and buzz, but you start to build credibility with them also, afterall it’s the same site they use to make their announcements. IMW has always showed me love when posting to them, they are honest and all about internet marketing.
#2 – ConquerYourNiche.com – This is a forum with thousands of internet marketers with all levels of experience from newbie to guru status. The great thing about this is that in this forum it’s friendly, and people are there to help and learn, so you are interacting with other like minded marketers.
But, in terms of traffic, your signature file can bring you decent traffic, my signature alone brings me about 20 – 30 clicks a day. The more you post, the more traffic you get and also the forum is based off of advertising too, so you can have a ad that displays to the top of the forum. In the forum you’ll see a lot of different topics and questions and get a lot of ideas from it too.
The way I work this is to see what topic is getting the most attention and feedback, and read the feedback and see different ideas and suggestions from it, and then react on it, because it’s already doing well in the forum, there’s no reason you can’t blog about it, or create a product around it because it’s already a hot topic and it’s your opinion.
#3 – Product Launches / Email List – This one is very important too. In order to get ahead of your competition, you have to know what they are doing and why they are having great success with it. So the key here is to go under the radar basically and find out what they are doing and how it has a impact on the industry and then adapt it to your strategy.
The best thing to do, is join email list from most recommended marketers because you’ll get to see what the latest trends and topics are, and even what products they are promoting. This will give you great feedback on what’s hot or not. Most of the time you will get newsletters and blog post from them, more on a personal level so you get to see on the inside what is in development or what’s working for them.
#4 – Ebay.com – Ok, before I use to hear about this one and think, well it’s ebay, what does that have to do with marketing. But the best part about using ebay for marketing not for selling, but for product ideas and research. Ebay is stocked full of products and courses and not only that, you can see what’s selling the most, which is more popular.
That is VERY important, once you already know what’s working, jump on it and put your twist on it. When you go to ebay, you can type in the keyword “internet marketing” or “online marketing” and it will bring up a lot of internet marketing products, and niches that you can capitalize on, and that’s why I included ebay… The same goes with Amazon.com too, you can see what the top movers are and different ideas.
#5 – ClickBank.com – Ahhh, this one never get’s old. You might heard about it before, but if your not using it, you should start ASAP. Why do I like to use clickbank to see what’s hot in internet marketing? You have different options to see what the hottest selling products are.
Let’s say you find a product that is the top seller… Study it and see what the topic is, what makes it a hot seller, purchase it even to learn from it, and implement it in your own way. If it’s already selling there, you can expect to get decent results too because all your doing is creating like a alternative, and the best thing to do is make it better than the original. Clickbank has 1000′s of of products to browse through to make your internet marketing research successful.

Has anyone out there heard about WideCircles.com. It seems like a way better service then wasting money on PPC. Apparently they are using refering websites ( forums, blogs, wiki, etc. ) and have a viral word of mouth distributed approach to it.
