5 Million Visitors… Are You Kidding Me?

If there’s one thing that all marketers need to be successful in internet marketing, it’s traffic. You have to get traffic in order to make your website produce. BUT, there’s one method that I have to warn you about, so pay close attention to this…

It’s called Guaranteed visitors, and it DOESN’T Work…

Website Traffic Marketing

I’m sure by now you’ve came across these kind of websites promising you that they can send you thousands to millions of visitors to your website right? I mean, were always looking for new ways to find traffic, but here’s what happens with guaranteed visitors.

There’s a lot of sites I’ve seen on the internet that I wonder how they are still actually operating legally and this type of service is in the same boat. They promise they can send you thousands to millions of visitors to your website for a flat fee, it may be $89 for 30,000 visitors. Now already, that sounds scammish…

You will get hits to your website, best believe that, BUT you won’t be actually getting REAL eyeballs to your site, and a REAL target market of people viewing your site. I know how they work and I don’t know how they still are able to operate. The quality of traffic is poor, most of them use hit generating scripts that will show in your statistics that they actually sent visitors, and some of them send hits from adult websites.

In my experience with them, and I’ve tried countless numbers of them to see which one actually produced some real results. I have found none of them till this day that actually works. One time I set up a campaign of 10,000 visitors to a high converting website, it even had a opt-in form on it too, guess what… Out of 10,000 visitors, not ONE subscribed or bought anything at all, and not only that, no one stayed on the site for more than 5 seconds.

I can see that happening on some websites, but when everyone does the same thing, there’s something wrong there. The traffic is delivered in the form of popunder, I mean who doesn’t have a popup blocker nowadays, or it’s delivered through their service meaning it’s unblockable, either way you should be getting some results.

I’ve spent over $1,000 testing these sites, some of them sound so good you just have to jump on them, but still the same results. I had a conversation with someone new to internet marketing the other day and he wanted to get traffi to his site. So I asked what type of traffic method did he have in mind, and he said “I came across this cool site that will send 1,000’s of visitors to my website so I should make a lot of sales… The red flag went up from there, which led me to write this post.

If you want to get traffic to your site, anything like viral marketing, email marketing, blogging, video marketing, social networking etc you do, but guaranteed visitors is something I advise you NOT to get into. They are some sites where you pay as if PPV or Pay Per Visitor, but I have found those to be legit, it comes with a price but it works.

Do you really think that you can get 30,000 visitors for $89? I mean, why wouldn’t they just keep that for their own site. When you look at their site, their traffic rank doesn’t even match up to the amount of volume they promise they will send you. Plus, if that was really the case, everyone would be using it and would be getting killer results in sales, signups and subscribers, so the cost would be WAY higher.

All in all, if you come across these type of guaranteed visitors websites, no matter how good they look or how good they sound, stay away from them. You’ll either end up wasting your bandwidth on generated hits, or wasting your time and money, and that’s the last thing you want to do in your business. Be sure to let others know too, because it is that important…

If you know of any websites like this that you got good results from, post it here in the comments or if you have similar experiences with them, post it here too…

YOU are a Success,

Hi Terrance, I found your blog on CYN-forum.Very clear design, I like it.

If someone promises 5 Million visitors for a fee, it will be untargeted visitors that will most likely do you no good, the people visiting are not interested in what you have to offer.Sadly, too many newbies fall for this scam and lose their money.
