I came across something very interesting today. It’s something that I have been using for years and I realized this back then, before it really got to where it’s at now. It’s all about branding yourself and your business. It’s not about branding your competitors, sure it’s ok to sell affiliate products etc, but what about YOU – that’s the question…

When you watch Flavor of Love, Rock of Love, American Idol etc, there’s one thing that’s happening with these people. They are getting a brand that you start to recognize everyday more and more until there image becomes familiar with you. So when they leave that show, they are still branded and they get contracts to do their own reality shows and more.

Did you notice that trend too? If you are one that notice these kind of trends, you’ll definitely be another major producer in internet marketing and lot’s of people will want to work with you, and even endorse you too. It’s a self branding game, that’s what makes you the superstar in your industry. Take a look at a video from Gary Vaynerchuck on branding yourself and becoming a web 2.0 magnet.

Branding is BIG, it’s always been but it’s more important than ever right now with the whole social networking and web 2.0 trend. Now is the perfect time to really get infront of all this technology and let it benefit you. Look at youtube for example and other video website out there, a lot of elebrities as there call are being made everyday because of the amount of exposure this goldrush is bringing.

If you aren’t branding, you need to start branding. There could be 1 same product being sold by 2 people, and the one that has the most brand and recognition is the one that will get the sale, not necessarily the one that sells it better, and that’s big in internet marketing, so you need to establish your brand.
