Your always looking for ways to make your blog more appealing, profitable, popular and rememberable. They are many ways you can do just that, but there is one thing that will kill your blog momentum quick, and it doesn’t have anything to do with your blog taste.

The simple formula is to just stop posting to your blog 
It works over 65% every time. I know how time consuming owning a blog can be, especially if it’s a high demand blog. One thing is your readers are always coming back wether through your URL or through your feed and they want new content from you, their begging for it.
Not posting new content to your blog will not only slow down your search engine ranking and search engine traffic, but will increase your blog subscriber opt-out rate and that is something you don’t want to do. Your blog basically falls off into cyberspace and their onto the next blog.
Content is KING, and that’s what keeps your blog running, people frequently visit your blog couple times on a daily basis and atleast everyday, if you have the same content you had last time, they’ll get tired and stop visiting your blog. Not saying that they’ll forget you, but it will create a DROP in your blog sales, signups, subscribers and popularity.
Always keep updated indemand content that you know your readers are seeking. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the best content in the world, but atleast keep it updated so that it’s always something new, plus the search engines love that. I’ve seen this happen to my blog too… We don’t all have the time to keep posting to our blogs, but if we don’t then our blog starts to fade out, and you don’t want that to happen.
Another thing is to keep HIGHLY conversational topics on your blog. You know, the topics that get’s people talking, debating, and sharing your post throughout the internet, because that will continue to drive traffic for weeks and months to come and keep your blog active. If the search engines see that your blog is being commented on and always updated, they’ll keep your spot and even improve your ranking as more linkbanks and popularity spike.
Blog about hot topics, things that people are already talking about or are going to be talking about soon, get your blog topic out there using the popular social bookmarking sites like digg, stumbleupon, plugim, and delicious because these sites alone will drive you 1,000′s of visitors as it does for me on a regular basis. Just continue posting fresh content to your blog and keep the traffic rolling, therefore keeping your profits going and your readers happy
