$1,000 In 30 Days Without Money… What Would You Do To Make It?

I came across a really important question on one of my favorite forums Conquer Your Niche, and it was about how would you make $1,000 in 30 days if you had no money but a lot of time. It stumped a few, but there’s a lot of ways you can do this, but if I had too, here’s how I would do it from scratch…

The first thing I would do is simply go back to basics. There’s a ton of ways you can do this, maybe not too much for the beginner because of their experience level, but if it was based on having a lot of time, they could easily learn it with all the free information out there.

Ok, what I would do is, grab a free blog hosted by either wordpress, typepad, blogger etc. Then my next aim is to do research, basically research HOT topics that people are constantly talking about. I won’t limit my blog to just one niche or market though, I would make it a “anything goes” type of blog where I blog about anything I want to.

This way regardless of the topic, I’ll always find one that is debatable, controversial, entertaining, that way I always have something to blog about. Once I start researching these hot demand topics, I’ll then search for the best keywords that’s use to get to the topic I’m blogging about.

Then, I would use these keywords strategically for the search engines, writing my post keyword rich so that it get’s indexed in the search engine and start gaining backlinks and more free traffic. Then, I’ll find affiliate programs that relate to what I’m blogging about, join them and then place them in my post as a recommendation.

Like for example, you could use clickbank, paydotcom, commission junction and any other affiliate networks that you can quickly signup for and promote. I’ll keep repeating these steps and continue posting everyday while some sales are starting to trickle in.

Then, I would go to google and search high traffic websites and blogs that pertain to my topic, then either leave comments on those blogs with my url to my blog, or contact the website owner to see if they would like to trade links or feature my blog to their subscribers.

Now, the traffic will start building more and more everyday, and so will your sales. Now, you would step it up a notch, and start creating viral videos that link back to your blog and place them on the most popular video sites like youtube for example. This is a repetitive process that you have to continue doing, it does take time, but it will bring results.

To monetize this traffic, I would then go and signup with AD networks like google adsense, chikita, azoogle, text-link-ads, and other PPC, PPA, PPL advertisers. This way I can place those ads on my blog, so that everytime someone clicks, buy, signup I get paid a commission. The more traffic that is coming in, the more bids and advertisers you’ll get to your blog.

So now your blog is starting to get sales, traffic, advertisers etc and to even monetize it even more, you want to make sure that you have a RSS subscribe so that your visitors can subscribe to your blog for more updates later on, therefore building your blog readership and increasing it’s popularity in the search engines and through other websites giving you more backlinks and traffic.

Then, you can use web 2.0 and social networking websites to get your topic out there, remember the end result is to bring people back to your blog or website to continue the conversation, debate, entertainment etc that way other people will start to notice your blog and join in, sites like digg, technorati, plugim, mybloglog, twitter, myspace and facebook are some of the most popular to try this approach with.

After this process, you want to rinse and repeat, continue pounding this for the next 30 days, and since it’s already getting traffic and sales by now, you can use that profit to leverage and buy advertising on the Ad networks, create Ad’s on google adwords and continue contacting other related websites to swap links, swap reviews etc getting reciprocal traffic and in 30 days, you would already made over $1,000.
