Top 5 Ways To Build Your Email List Quickly…

If there’s one thing that will bring you success in internet marketing that all the TOP Experts have and utilize as their most important asset, it’s your LIST. The marketer with the list wins, everytime. But, the problem is, there are a TON of ways to build your list, and some work better than others, I’m going to share with you which ones are the most effective.
Top 5 Ways To Build Your Email List Quickly…
(Not in any particular order)
#1 – JV Giveaways – This is one of the quickest ways to build your list. The concept is simple. You participate in one of these giveaways, add your product that your giving away free along with your lead capture page and your set. You don’t have to own the products either, if you have a collection of useful ebooks, simply add a couple of them.
Giveaways work because people love free stuff, and giveaways is where they can get 100′s to 1,000′s of QUALITY software, ebooks, audio, videos, membership passes, special reports, private label rights and resell rights products.
#2 – Social Media Buzz – This is a new effective method. For example, look at twitter… Do you see how viral it is and how popular it is now? You need to give people something to talk about, anything that creates curiosity, buzz, entertainment, humor, and is worthy of sharing. The method here is to make it viral.
For example, look at Susan Boyle, the “Britain’s Got Talent” singer. She became a hit sensation in the social media world, her videos have been viewed over 100 million times. Using video is still one of the BEST methods to create buzz with social media, and as long as your “buzz factor” is worth it, you can get these kind of results too.
#3 – Joint Ventures – Out of all of them, if not the best method here. This is my favorite one, always remember, you CAN do it alone, but it will take you much longer to see success. The key is to work in numbers which you ALL benefit from.
It’s not hard to find a JV partner, as long as they have the same criteria, for example, if your email list size is 1,000+ subscribers, you can find a JV partner with the same size list size and do a cross promotion of each others product, blog or website. Once your list increase, find another JV partner with the same list size and repeat.
#4 – Product Creation – This is another one of my favorites. Creating your own product will bring you branding, sales, subscribers, affiliates, and joint venture partners. It’s one of the quickest ways to build credibility and trust in your niche. And with all the free traffic you’ll be getting, simply adding a opt-in form will build your subscribers.
My first BIG product launch ”The Simple Code Manuscript” brought in over 10,000+ unique visitors in it’s first week alone. Having your own product is KEY to your success. If you look at one trait all the Top Experts have in common, you’ll see that they all have their own products and list.
#5 – Video/Blog Marketing – 60% of internet traffic is from video alone. Combining video and blogging together gives it more of a VIRAL twist. Now, you see those videos that are getting thousands to millions of views. Just imagine creating some good content videos and putting them on youtube or viddler. The key is to create a squeeze page and direct your viewers to that website after they watch the video.
I see videos that get 20,000 - 30,000+ views that don’t even have a website or squeeze page to redirect all that traffic, and their leaving potential subscribers and money on the table. Then, I’ve seen where it’s used correctly and have built some 10,000 – 50,000+ subscribers list, and that’s just one video alone.
Another good reason to use video is that it creates INSTANT trust, most people love to see and hear things instead of read them, and not only that, search engines love them, so you’ll rank higher if your using blog combined with video.
And those are some of the 5 most POPULAR ways to build your list quickly. As you know, there are a TON more ways to build your list, but each have it’s advantages and disadvantages and time length. If you want to build a HUGE responsive list quickly, this is the 5 BIG ones you want to concentrate on the most.
Ofcourse, not to count this one out, because this is where most marketers make this mistake. ANY website that you have that is getting traffic, always use a opt-in form or squeeze page on it, this way your capitalizing on building your list over time.
It’s not a overnight success, but look at this example. Let’s say you are gaining about 30 subscribers a day, that’s 210 a week, 840 a month, and 10,080 in a year. It can be more or less, but if you have more than one website, and you do this same step for all of them, just imagine how much more subscribers you will be getting.

Hi Terrance…nice post about building a list.
I’ve got to say that giveaways, jv ad swaps and affiliate programs are the biggest list builders I’ve experienced…blogs and web 2.0 are good too…for traffic and building up your rep.

Terrance, what a post! You definitely laid it all out, I’ve been concentrating heavily on building my email list and I have been using JV giveaways as a top source so far, it’s been doing good.
