3 Ways To Power Your Twitter Marketing…

If your not familiar with Twitter, now is a GOOD time to get involved. Twitter brings you Traffic, Sales, Relationships and Branding. If your already using Twitter, I’m going to show you 3 ways to kick your marketing in the @ss using Twitter, the same EXACT techniques I use to launch me from 990 followers to over 10,000+ in about a month.
3 Ways To Power Your Twitter Marketing…
#1 – Combining Twitter/Blogging – If not, one of the most powerful methods that I’ve been using. Twitter is already VIRAL and so is your blog, when you create value in your blog post and share it through Twitter, your traffic spikes through the roof and vica versa with Twitter. Your followers love good content, and sharing that content with them through your blog is POWERFUL.
One of the quickest ways to do this is to use the TweetMeme Button here, do NOT underestimate this button, it’s responsible for me getting almost 600+ visitors in couple hours with one blog post. It will add a “digg like” button to the top of ALL your blog post making it fully viral, you can see how it looks when you scroll up to the top of my post, btw show me some love by giving me a RT (Retweet) 
#2 – Combining Twitter/Free Content – Everyone loves FREE. The old ways of giving away free content has changed. If your like me, when you giveaway free content, you want it to get to as much people as it can, the more people, the more value you are bringing to them. If you have free ebooks, special reports, audios or videos, what better way than to give it away and combine it with a Twitter RT (Retweet) button or script.
You can use a “TweetMeme” button as explained above and at it to your freebie page, articles and even website. If your providing value, people won’t have a problem giving it a RT to their followers, because it’s going to help them too. The key here is to make it as VIRAL as possible, another way is to use a RT Script created by Ryan Wade called Viral Tweets, I used this exact same script for a product giveaway recently.
#3 – Combining Twitter/Email Marketing – This is BIG too, if you already have a email list, one thing you have to realize is that not all of your subscribers use or know what Twitter is. If you combine the above steps into email marketing, you’ll have a TON of reach especially if you offer a freebie to your list that in order to get it, they have to RT it using the RT Script above, it makes it fun and it get’s them using Twitter with you.
And in reverse, most of your subscribers could already be using Twitter, so if they’re already using it, the more powerful and easier it will be for them and for you. It’s another way to connect with them. Email doesn’t have the same excitement as it once did, people prefer networking more. Any time I’m going to give away a free report or product, I add the RT Script to it and give it to my subscribers boosting it’s exposure and reach.
Those are the 3 POWER ways I use Twitter to RAMP up my marketing and I’m positive once you put it to use, it will do the same for you. Using these techniques alone drove over 9,000+ unique visitors to my websites in about 3 weeks and I can’t slow it down even if I wanted to. Agreed, great tips! Ppl should also be adding their Twitter username to their signatures of their blog posts (and in their email signatures). I get followers all the time that way.

Great content. Most people have heard about Twitter, but aren’t exactly sure how to use it for marketing. I think you explained it rather elegantly and anyone who may have been confused has a great starting point.
I’d like to add that there are many Twitter strategies out there, so don’t stop there. Find out what other people are doing and test the strategies out yourself. Make sure to track your visitors, so you know if they are really coming from Twitter.
