Great tips thanks Happy to retweet.

However how do find the time to all of this. I dont think I give it enough time.

One thought I have always thought good for personal branding is a good photograph taken specifically for your web presence. Too many people use an old picture with a friend or auntie chopped off!!!!

    Terrance,
    Outstanding list. I would add:
    - Show off your expertise by creating topical pages on Squidoo (lenses). One of your many lenses can even be a lensography which functions as a mega-About Me page. Look me up on Squidoo to see what I mean. Squidoo pages rank well in search engines. You also share in revenue generated from advertisements hosted on your lenses.
    - Create some content for HubPages. This site works a lot like Squidoo. It takes a little more work–not one of my favorites but popular with a lot of other people.
    - Be an active participant in forums related your niche. Take Terrance’s advice and fully utilize your signature and image in your profile. Better yet, if you have the time and interest, create your own forum or network. I’ve done both and they’ve really helped to further my personal brand and expertise.

Great post TC! So true, personal branding is very important and it’s even more important these days where there are so many scams. People need to be able to know who you are and trust you. These are some great ways to establish that.

#20 … dude, since you bring it up, I think it would help you to get a professional designer to work on your Twitter background (rather then an amateur from elance or somewhere like it). The flame filter background doesn’t impress a lot of people ;) Lacks taste in my opinion.

Dene, I appreciate your honest feedback. That’s one thing about business and personal branding, some will accept it and some won’t, that’s why we have to continue growing and evolving as marketers, seeing what works best
